This free workshop is offered exclusively to Impact Through Innovation Awards applicants with the generous support of Morgan Stanley.

Join our experts for an introduction on the economic approach to measuring and valuing the impact of your work. Together, we will explore the principles and practice of economic evaluation, helping you understand and demonstrate your impact to drive real world change.

By the end of the session you’ll be equipped to:

  • Decide if economic evaluation is the right method for your organisation and programmes

  • Identify the data that matters for robust analysis and plan how to collect or improve it

  • Map inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, impact, benefits, and value using a simple logic chain or theory of change

  • Understand how you can use evidence pathways to link your programme’s outcomes to wider social benefits

The workshop is designed for attendees working closely to their organisation’s data and decision making, for example leads in monitoring and evaluation, operations, strategy or fundraising.

Led by our Training Facilitator, Alexa Sage, you will learn:

    • Models

The different models of valuing impact, such as cost-benefits and scenario analysis, using real-life examples.
    • Measurement

The most credible methods for measuring and valuing impact.
    • Change

How to use evidence to inspire change.
