The London LGBTQ+ Community Centre is a volunteer-led, inclusive space in central London that provides a safe and welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. The Centre offers a range of services including community events, workshops, peer support, and access to resources. Its mission is to foster connection, wellbeing, and empowerment across the LGBTQ+ community.

The Centre recently completed a year-long research project (March 2024–March 2025) and is preparing for a public launch event in November 2025. They are seeking support to analyse and present the findings from this project, alongside additional feedback collected since December 2024. The goal is to strengthen their case for support, communicate impact effectively to funders (including the National Lottery), and inform future fundraising and programming.

What do we need from a volunteer?

The Centre is seeking a volunteer to:

  • Review and analyse feedback data, stored in Excel spreadsheets from approximately 122 survey responses, plus additional responses collected since December 2024.
  • Extract key statistics and insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Develop a clear and compelling narrative that communicates the Centre’s impact on health, wellbeing, and community connection.
  • Create a visually engaging output (e.g. report, slide deck, dashboard) suitable for funders, stakeholders, and public sharing.

The ideal volunteer is:

  • Experienced in data analysis and visualisation
  • Skilled in communicating complex findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Analysing and presenting both quantitative and qualitative data (including stories and feedback).
  • Based in the United Kingdom.
  • Registered and confirmed as a PBE volunteer.

What are the timescales?

  • Starting: November 2025
  • Deadline to apply: 26 October

We anticipate this to be approximately 3-5 days of volunteer work over up to 2 months.
